On the occasion of Skanda Sashti celebration , Sri Sankara Mattham at Matunga, conducted Ruthra abhishekam, milk, Curd and holi water bathing on the idol of Lord Muruga’s which was later decorated with flowers.
On this occasion 35 young boys between the age group of 7 and 21 years were felicitated and were given Dhoti, brass vessels, prayer books. Later food was offered to devotees and annadhanam to the public.
